I love to paint and watch these beautiful fish. Not only are their colours amazing but their symbolism also attracts me. Koi symbolise happiness. They work for this with a powerful and energetic life force, demonstrated by its ability to swim against currents and even travel upstream (like salmon). Some of the characteristics associated with the koi include:
